Q. In terms of watching the films which Halloween do you prefer the original, or the remake, excluding the fact you were in the remake, be as impartial as possible!
Danielle: The original is one of the most classic horror films of all time. I mean, we’re still making them 30 years later! I like to think of Rob Zombies Halloween as ”Rob Zombie’s Halloween” It is his version of “Halloween” and I thought it was great regardless of me being a part of it. He has a great vision and totally re-vamped the series. I thought it was fitting with where cinema is right now. It’s not an easy job, but someone was gonna do it and I’m glad it was him!

Q. You are a veteran of the Halloween series. But which is more gratifying to you being liked for playing Jamie Lloyd, or being liked for playing Annie Brackett? Also which was more difficult?
Danielle: I really hope that everyone who enjoyed watching “Jamie” has also found a fondness for “Annie”! “Jamie” was the character that started it all for me, so she’ll always be close to my heart. I watch H4 and H5 sometimes on TV and I can’t believe that was me! I was a completely fearless little girl!

Q. What was more scarier doing these films or facing Michael when you where younger in Halloween 4 and 5?
Danielle: Facing off with Michael in Rob Zombies Halloween was definitely more difficult because this was the first time that Michael actually got me! In the previous films I did a lot of running from him, but he never got his hands on me! I worked with a trainer for a few months before filming because now that I was the Sheriff’s daughter, I wanted the fight between Michael and I to be as real as Rob would let it without having a stunt double.

Q. Hi Danielle! The original ‘Annie’ died in the first Halloween movie… Are you happy that your character is still alive in this new Halloween franchise?
Danielle: When I read the previous Halloween script I had no idea that “Annie” was going to live. I was reading along expecting to get to the scene in the laundry room and then the car and when I got to the fight between Annie and Michael I was shocked! I started yelling ”Oh My God!!! I Live!!!!!!!” It was so cool to know something that the fans didn’t! Everyone would come up to me and say, “So, how was it to get choked out in the car by Michael?” and I would say, “How do you know that I die in the car?” Fans assumed that Rob wrote it that was because I was cast as “Annie”, but he always had it that way. When I asked him why he didn’t kill her off he said, “I don’t know, I just wanted it to be different!”.

Q. how does it feel to work with Rob Zombie?
Danielle: Rob is amazing! He let’s me do whatever I want and he trusts me to create “Annie” as we go. His scripts are basically blueprints and once we get on set it keeps changing. Very few directors are that free with actors and it’s something that every actor dreams of being able to do. Anytime I read on the internet that pages of the script have made their rounds I just laugh because by the time you see the movie it will all be different anyway!!

Q. How do you feel about being in the same amount of Halloween movies as Jamie Lee Curtis?
Danielle: I love it!! I hope I end up doing more than Jamie Lee! My dream would actually be to do one with her. When H20 came out I was like, “Hey! She has a son?? What about Jamie?!”

Q. Who is the scariest ‘Myers’ you’ve worked with so far: Tyler, George or Don?
Danielle: I unfortunately don’t think any of them are scary in real life !! I know the men under the masks and they all couldn’t be sweeter! I’m sure Tyler doesn’t want it getting out there that he’s “sweet”, but I always had a blast with them and they we’re great to me and always made me feel comfortable and safe!
