Stacey Nelkin had started to make a name for herself on hit TV shows such as CHiPs, Eight Is Enough, The Waltons & Trapper John, M.D. before being cast at the last minute for Halloween III. Since then she has appeared or starred in numerous film and TV projects such as Bullets Over Broadway, Going Ape, and Yellowbeard. She was originally cast as Mary, the “Sixth Replicant” in Blade Runner, but due to the film’s escalating budget, her part was cut just before shooting began.
Stacey took a break from acting in 1996 and has made a few appearances on TV and in short films. And recently has appeared at horror conventions around the world.
