Goof: When the crew is loading in their gear behind the Myers House, a green SUV passes by and the reflection of the warehouse stage set is visible in the windows.
Goof: As Willie is approaching the laundry area, the swinging light (in the windows reflection) is slowing down. You can see a crew member’s grab the light and and push it to get it swinging again.
Goof: As Michael is walking towards Laurie’s room the camera switches to his POV & he stops to bang the door four times. When it switches back to inside Laurie’s room you can see he is still moving towards the door and he breaks thru it.
Continuity: As Sara climbs out of the bedroom window, Michael slices the bottom of her leg. But when she climbs up the roof there are no visible wounds.
Goof: When Michael is kicked out of the window and hung by the camera wire, the roof of the sound stage can be seen.
Continuity: When Michael heads to Laurie’s room the hair on his mask changes many times during the next few scenes. It goes from the classic look, to poofy, to slicked back in a matter of minutes.
Goof: Myers switches places with the paramedic and puts the mask on him, yet when Myers is walking around the school campus he is still wearing the mask. When it cuts to Myers entering the woods, he isn’t wearing the mask now.
Continuity: When Laurie cuts off Myers head (H20 footage) it’s clearly the Stan Winston mask that rolls towards camera. Yet when it cuts back to the reveal of who is under the mask it’s now the cinema Secrets mask.
Continuity: When Jen pulls down the attic stairs, Bills blood splatters on her face. When Michael starts to swing the knife and it cuts to Jen screaming the blood is gone.
Goof: In the theatrical ending as Sara is trapped under the equipment, Freddie kicks down the door to rescue her. As the door is being kicked down, you can see that it’s actually Decker who kicks open the door (alternate ending).
Goof: Katee Sackhoff’s name is misspelled as Katie Sachoff in the opening credits.
Continuity: Harold says that Michael killed ‘3 nurses and a paramedic that night’. Which he did. But Michael also killed a doctor (Mixter), candy striper (Janet), the Marshall and security guard (Mr. Garrett) in the hospital before being blown up.
